About the Transatlantic Slave Trade
The Transatlantic Slave Trade was one of the ugliest chapters in world history and has left an indelible mark on societies, cultures and peoples all over the world. This new Anti-Slavery International website aims to help teachers and educators to break the silence surrounding the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Through a variety of resources, ideas and perspectives, it shows how enslavement changed societies worldwide and how its long lasting legacies are directly relevant to people today.
