In northeast Kansas there is a creature know as a wildcat. It comes in three colors, blue, red, and purple. This trait is controlled by a single locus gene with incomplete dominance. A homozygous (BB) individual is blue, a homozygous (bb) individual is red, and a heterozygous (Bb) individual is purple. What would be the genotypes and phenotypes of the offspring if a blue wildcat were crossed with a red one?

klinefelter syndrome
Klinefelter's syndrome, 47, XXY or XXY syndrome is a condition caused by a chromosome aneuploidy. Affected males have an extra X sex chromosome. The principal effects are development of small testicles and reduced fertility. A variety of other physical and behavioral differences and problems are common, though severity varies and many boys and men with the condition have few detectable symptoms. The second most common extra chromosome condition, it is named after Dr. Harry Klinefelter, an endocrinologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, who first described it in 1942.[1] The condition exists in roughly 1 out of every 500 males.[2] Because of the extra chromosome, individuals with the condition are usually referred to as "XXY Males", or "47, XXY Males"

Klinefelter syndrome
In 1942, Klinefelter et al published a report on 9 men who had enlarged breasts, sparse facial and body hair, small testes, and an inability to produce sperm.1 In 1959, these men with Klinefelter syndrome were discovered to have an extra sex chromosome (genotype XXY) instead of the usual male sex complement (genotype XY).
Klinefelter syndrome is the most common chromosomal disorder associated with male hypogonadism and infertility

La Drépanocytose
La drépanocytose est une maladie génétique responsable d’une anomalie de l’hémoglobine contenue dans les globules rouges. L’hémoglobine est responsable du transport de l’oxygène dans les tissus. L’hémoglobine anormale (l’hémoglobine S), dans certaines conditions (froid, fièvre, déshydratation, etc.), va rendre les globules rouges rigides, ceux-ci perdant leur capacité normale à se déformer pour passer dans les tout petits vaisseaux sanguins.
